I have been on the zone food plan for 11 months and have lost 75 pounds. Besides that, the other health benefits have been enormous:
1. I am diabetic and was able to cut insulin down drastically, from 220
units per day to 40 units - within 1-2 weeks time.
2. I was able to stop prescription drugs for leg cramps.
3. My depression was lifted after 30 or more years of suffering, which
I now believe was due to eating refined flour and sugar products.
4. I was able to breath much better at nights, which, I believe, was
due to not eating refined flour/sugar and lots of dairy products.
Paying $40 a day can be expensive but worth it to me for extremely better health. People pay for housekeepers, gardeners, manicures, car washes, beauty shops/barbers - so why not pay for good health. Having the Zone deliver food saves time (for busy people) in that they do not have to go to the grocery store, shop, prepare food and
cook it. This is all done for me. The food is delicious. I call Arlene Sherman my cheer leader - always available with positive feedback!
